Why isn't Churchill down included in their daily paid contests?

I think there is an issue of licensing fees? The limited track selection is disappointing. Not carrying the Kentucky Derby... that's not good. Still, I do enjoy the website.

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken, I think they did the same thing with the Breeders Cup last year. But if the BC was at Santa Anita why wouldn't they?

The issue is with CD...they will not license their product for the purpose of contests...small minded folks running the show there at CD corporate.

Twins Spires owns the betting rights and HorseTourneys use to carry Churchill but I believer he has to pay a licensing fee to the ownership of Churchill etc and it probably cuts into his profit margin on his site. The same thing happened with tracks owned by the The Stronach Group, Apparently they threatened to sue Derby Wars and Horsetourneys and Twins Spires as well for cutting into their profits which is nothing but a big joke as Mackay Smith runs an excellent website, but you have to have permission from the tracks because it is gambling. It is ridiculous as I agree Churchill has great cards and it is not like they do not make enough money and they cry about a little more for sites that people enjoy and online tournament play is growing.

CDI handles all of the wagering contracts for Oaklawn.

Vegas casinos had to book the bets for CD (with house limits in place) on the Derby. Vegas CD fee dispute. Churchill concerned with Kentucky and casino ownership, seems it could care less about racing elsewhere. (Hollywood,Calder, next Arlington closures)

Too bad about Arlington, use to have great fields and a beautiful track. Hopefully, they renovate Hawthorne.
