The weather forecast is calling for some rain/t-storms for tomorrow and then a pretty steady rain late Thursday morning through the afternoon. If the forecast holds, what are we looking at for conditions?
I'm thinking the turf could be good to yielding on Friday and good on Saturday. A good dirt track to start the day on Friday and drying out through the day, fast by 2 or 3 at the latest?
Thoughts?

Looks like the rain will begin around noon tomorrow and continue fairly steady through early evening on Thursday. I'd say you are right as it will likely start out drying on Friday and be fine by early afternoon. The thing about CD is it dries out very well. I've literally seen a tornado hit with torrential rain the night before Derby and the track be perfect for Derby day.
As for the turf, given the snow mid-week last week, the rain on Saturday, and then up to an inch and half or so tomorrow through Thursday I would expect some give in the sod for sure. The front coming through is supposed to be accompanied by winds 15-20 MPH, continuing through Oaks Day so it might dry out better than expected.
I'll likely avoid playing too much tomorrow or Thursday given the weather unless something really catches my eye however.
