Thank you, Ziggy! We certainly have much in common as far as classic rock n roll goes! Jammin' early today! Tommy was a classic rock opera. Blue Oyster Cult cocks with the best of 'um.

Saw Bowie at the Music Hall in Aberdeen on May 16, 1973. That’s me in the balcony under the green marker !

Was lucky(and old enough) to catch the Soft Machine/Hendrix tour(Soft Machine was a 3-piece at the time--no guitar), a rare live appearance by Earth Opera(Peter Rowan and David Grisman trying to rock and doing it well), Bowie as Ziggy in Detroit, and was graciously hosted by Pepsico to an up-close evening with the purple legend. Enjoyed them all.....
Will be interesting to see the on-going reactions to the latest anti-lockdown stances from Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, David Grohl etc.....

The Who and Zep is an omg concert. The ONLY time it ever happened. That ticket is probably worth way more than $5.75 now

I'm playing this song partly because John was/is/was/is/... a heavy smoker. They had to put a stint in his heart'. John almost always has some meaning to his lyrics if you can dig it out.. The "trade his ticket for cigarettes" is probably a reference to his habit. Another song "the plane crash last year" refers to Jim Croce
. We get updates early because Ina knows Bobby. Plus Rick is worth seeing on guitar.
