Also UAE Derby winner, Rebel Romance is apparently not going to participate. That's okay, he could probably do well in the Belmont. 12F-14F+ horses don't tend to do great in our KY Derby as we saw with THunder Snow, Mutjaahib, Lani, Mendellsohn, etc. as for Greatest Honour being off the trail, I'm sure Shug is absolutely devastated, but it's better to find out now about an injury than later. Horse will have a career after this. Unlike some who will be "ruined" after the KY Derby, as often happens. |
