Former Tampa Bay Derby and Oaklawn Hdcp winner Quip in the entries. Can we get a tip on The Dubai Dash from the insider?

R2- 1m4f Dubai Racing Club Classic (Listed Handicap) (Turf) (3yo+ 90-112)
I like two of Charlie Appleby's entrants here. #2- Ispolini (6-1) didn't miss the exacta in four tries at Meydan last season. Ran okay in a listed event when last seen at Haydock in July. The improving #4- Walton Street (7-2) is a lightly raced 7yo, should take a lot of beating today.

R4- 1m1f Singspiel Stakes (Group 2) (Turf) (3yo+)
#11- Military March (2-1) was a good fourth to Kameko in the Guineas at Newmarket in his only 2020 appearance. Frankie rides, could boss these if ready. #9- Zakouski (3-1) is 4 of 6 lifetime, two for two at Meydan, probably has more to give. #6- Lord Glitters (6-1) is the class of the field, but hasn't won since taking the Queen Anne S. (GI) at Royal Ascot in 2019. #10- Kinross (15-1) has been well thought of since smashing debut, stretches out off of AW win at Kempton in Nov.

Wow, great to see 8yo Lord Glitters just mow them down from well off the pace! He's not done yet by any means. Too bad Danny Tudhope couldn't be there to ride him.

R6- 7f Al Fahidi Fort (Group 2) (Turf) (3yo+)
#5- Glorious Journey (5-2) is a multiple G2 winner, won this race last season, was brought along slowly through the latter half of 2020 by Appleby with this Carnival season clearly in mind.

R7- 5f Dubai Dash (Limited Handicap) (Turf) (3yo+ 90-110)
Of the three highweights I'll side with #2- Equilateral (3-1). Won this race in 2020 under a similar impost, gets Frankie on his back today, all systems go. #5- Acclaim the Nation (15-1) is interesting. Held good form through the summer, likes the distance, gets weighted favorably. #13- Riflescope (20-1) has been running longer and on dirt as well, would hope to see an even finish as a prep for a stretchout next time.

Nice seeing the old boy come from last and pay $14! And Frankie with a two bagger.
