European entrants- (last three Racing Post Ratings) ~ (owner-trainer):
Miss Amulet (111-110-102) (Mrs. D. Tabor/Condon)- Beat Sacred in Lowther S. (GII, 6F) at York, then was half-a-length second to Alcohol Free in the Cheveley Park S. (GI, 6F) in late September at Newmarket. Has never raced beyond 6F. Handles all ground. Career turf record (7/3-2-0).
Mother Earth (111-78-100) (Smith, et. al./A. O'Brien)- Finished third behind Pretty Gorgeous in GII at Curragh, did no running in GI there three weeks later, then rebounded to be beaten only a length by Pretty Gorgeous in the Fillies Mile (GI). Career turf record (7/1-1-4).
Nazuna (104-87-80) (Mrs. H. Varian/Varian)- Improved markedly in latest to land second in Rockfel S. (GII, 7F) at Newmarket. Has only run on good ground. Career turf record (4/1-2-0).
(Race begins at 39:00 mark.)
Oodnadatta (105-85-84) (Scarborough, et. al./Mrs. J. Harrington)- was well held twice behind Shale and Pretty Gorgeous, but neither of them are running in this. Ran on at the end of the Moyglare Stud S. (GI) and could well move forward again stretching out to a mile. Good ground all three starts. Career turf record (3/1-0-1).
North American entrants-
Aunt Pearl (5-2) unchallenged in two starts, stakes record in Jessamine here on 7 October.
Campanelle (9-2) another front-runner, training here since return from GI win in France in August. Hasn't been beyond 6F.
Plum Ali (7-2) open-length wins in all three starts. Perfect inside stalking trip in latest, but left no doubt in small field.
Winning chance: Aunt Pearl, Campanelle, Miss Amulet, Plum Ali.
Will use underneath: Madone, Mother Earth, Nazuna, Spanish Loveaffair, Tetragonal.
Interesting longshot: Alda was held up at the rear in GI Natalma behind a moderate pace, came wide into the stretch and nearly got to the winner.
