If it's not raining at 6AM I'm going fishing. So far the forecast says rain later in the day.If they are wrong it's nice to have a backup plan. GL Hoop

R2, #2 Cliff Of Moher shows he just ran 4th behind Poet's Words Wednesday. I'm assuming we was just double entered and wont run tomorrow. I don't ever recall seeing O'Brien running them back like that.

The Queen Alexandra is almost 3 miles - a real endurance race. Ever on the look out for a new handicapping angle I decided to have a long look at Dr. Roman's writings. I can't recall a single American horse in the past 15 years that had earned a single stamina point in that category. There are 4 in the Alexandra. Here they are with their dosage index.
#7 Le Maitre Chat 99/1 - 6-4-6-4-2 #11 Thomas Hobson 7/5 - 3-2-7-2-1 #12 Count Octave 5/1 - 1-2-11-7-1 #14 Light Pillar 15/1 - 5-0-22-17-2
You've got the odds on favorite all the way up to a 99/1 long shot.
I'd happily take a shot at 15/1 and, of course, put a pound on the 99-1
ps; Barbaro had a point in stamina point.

Watching in glorious Hi Def as I catch up on a bit of computer work. Bucket list to attend one day for sure.
Next up is the Diamond Jubilee and while it would be a hoot to see the Turfway Park prepped Bound For Nowhere pull off a win I see Harry Angel finally get the win at Ascot over the Aussie Redkirk Warrior.
The 5th features the old man Undrafted and while it would be great to see him run well, I expect Dreamfield to roll. Has hinted at great ability in 3 easy wins to start the career and anything close to the 4-1 ML would appear to be a gift.

That was one of the worst starts I have seen in any race as Harry Angel’s race was over in the gate. Really surprised they sprung the latch when they did. Solid run by Bound For Nowhere to finish 3rd

Harry Angel lost all chance at the start.
