I found out late that the 6 had to go on Sunday. Cost me a nice winner in the contest, not watching the clock. I wouldn't mind but live in the last and well I should have bought the race. I really didn't love the favorite or anybody for that matter. The kicker is that I was "perfect" in the 1st 5. Singled three low/favorite price horses Used two twice. They ran one two. One was the longest shot in the race .... I love BRIS pp's summary. That last race I just kept coming back to, and only used three horses. rooting for the 1, paid over 9 grand. Now if I could stop trying to be perfect in a jumbled mess, where nothing really stands out.
5th BRIS summary. High Command is sitting on top as the longest shot. Ran well at FL. Each race at Aqu he seemed to improve except the last. 9 decent races and that bad last, I had to take the chance. The connections were a worry but coming off a layoff, and they had the horse back then, hey this could pop.

My $7.20 ticket missed out on High Command. There’s a big player on Twitter called SwiftHitter who was alive to all but High Command in the Early Pick 5 . Boy , was he annoyed !

For some reason, I did not play it, but did play the 3rd thru 5th p3 and the late p4. Both small and hit them both. Used ALL in the 5th to catch a $1 $140 p3 for $21 and for $48 caught a $1 $147 p4.
So I had all of the winners. I’m sure that I would have screwed up something if I had played p6.
Not the hardest one to hit—4th race being a gimme.
