His move from last to second was pretty impressive, he was really stretching out and getting over the ground. Be interested to see where he turns up next.

Makes me think that the much more talented Mendelssohn might have been the one today had he made the trip over. Looking forward to seeing him in the US in the summer

I'd be interested to see what Brown does w/him. Noseda developed and conditioned the horse, for 3 years.......Brown gave him 2 breezes at 4F and 5F. I think he had the horse less than a month and pretty much just sent him to the track. (Brown himself pretty much admits it takes up to 6 months to work his training program, but that he was impressed with the horse when he got him 2nd week in May, Gronk had been sick and could not run in the KY Derby .) So yeah, I want to see if the horse improves or regresses.

The other big impact of Gronkowski was on the pay-outs. A 10 horse field, the less than odds on favorite wins, the ML second choice is third, and you get a $114 tri for 50 cents? Amazing.
Plus Justify pays $3.60 to win and $3.50 to PLACE!
