Ascot 8:50- 7F Pat Eddery Stakes (Listed Race) (Class1) (2yo)
#3- Choritzo (50-1) runs again today, stretching out to 7F in the listed Pat Eddery S. I'm on him until the wheels come off.

York 9:05- 1m2½f EBF Stallions Fillies' Handicap (Class 3) (3yo+) (0-90)
#1- Black Lotus (6-1) carries the high weight, stretches out to a distance where she's had previous success. Very consistent 5yo mare should go well in second start of 2020.

Ascot 9:25- 7f Moet & Chandon International Stakes (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) (3yo+)
The usual suspects, top flight handicappers going 7F over good-to-firm ground. Thinking that #16- Gin Palace (12-1) could step up today under the light impost.

York 9:40- 1m2½f York Stakes (Group 2) (Class 1) (3yo+)
Accomplished field of seven tackle 10F over the good going on the Knavesmire.
Preference is for #2- Elarqam (5-2) which found 12F a bridge too far last out in the Hardwicke at Royal Ascot. Return to favorite distance should put him back on best form, as well as a course where he is 4/2-0-2. #7- Telecaster (3-1) is a lightly-raced 4yo coming off an impressive GIII win in France at Longchamps. He may have a bit more to give still.

Thanks for the link Dell. Quality coverage. Rooting for Telecaster who was one of the favorites for the Derby last year.

Ascot 10:00- 1m (Str) Handicap (Class 2) (3yo) (0-105)
#6- Evening Sun (6-1) won handily on reappearance going 7F at Newmarket. Stretches out with a bit to prove but might be up to the task for Charlton/Moore and HM The Queen. #7- Great Ambassador (7-1) has been progressive in six tries, last was best yet against much better in the Britannia S. at Royal Ascot.

York 10:15- 1m Handicap (Class 2) (3yo+) (0-105)
#2- Elwazir (7-1) turns back to a mile today after a steady diet of 10F races. Should give a good account today with Crowley reunited. #3- Greenside (5-1) stretches out to his best distance after two 7F duels. Consistent sort may get lost in the wagering, check the board.

Ascot 10:35- 1m4f King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Qipco Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Class 1) (3yo+)
Enable faces two others after the scratch of Anthony Van Dyck. Japan ran her to a head last time in the Eclipse (GI), but with that race under her belt she should be in top form now. She's fun to watch, and Frankie will dismount in style should she succeed.

What a devastating turn of foot shown by Enable. When Frankie looked back the first time, he might have been measuring the competition. But his look back the second time appeared to be a "just try to catch me" look. He just knew that nothing short of a rocket could close on his mare.

That was an impressive sight, though a better field would have been a truer test. Still, hard to imagine her getting beat with a burst like that. I managed to pitch a 7-inning no-hitter over there, taking myself out of the game. Will look to get back on track at the Spa. Best of luck today!
