Interesting exercise going on with the opening of Disney this week. Add in the NBA personnel in the same area and I'll not be flying to FL. anytime soon.

The way things are, it would take a lot to persuade me to get onto a plane to go anywhere. Too many issues concerning recirculated air, no assurance that would be proper distancing on board, or even that fellow passengers will take proper safety precautions.
Glad I no longer have business travel requirements.

The only way I would be flying would be in Spanky’s bookie’s Private jet.

My wife flew in from SRQ in FL Sunday evening. Flight was pretty much full--everyone masked. She said that bars were closing unless they were primarily restaurants. Some indoor seating--a lot of outdoor seating. Public beach was open---chairs, tables and beach access from our place individually providing responsible sanitation before and after.
Most interesting aspect is how the testing #s have been skewed, with many high positive # areas now revealed to be ONLY reporting positive results(98-100%). Same in Texas and other locals. Without going political, we know the reasons behind this......
Be responsible---wash your hands thoroughly and often---wear the mask where needed or required---try not to touch your mouth, nose, etc----protect the most vulnerable---stay calm and be as happy as possible---respect everyone Don't believe everything that you view and read from the media

July 15 Florida might be minimizing the depth of its COVID-19 problem by underreporting its rate of positive tests, experts say. The method used to calculate the “positivity rate” — a critical measure of the pandemic’s progression — puts more emphasis on negative tests, skewing the results in that direction. A person who tests positive is counted only once, but negative tests can be counted repeatedly if the same person got more than one test. In addition, just as the pandemic raced out of control this month, the state changed the formula. It now mixes two different types of tests, including one that produces more false negative results. The upshot of both factors is that the rate of positive tests, as quoted by the state, could make the situation look significantly better than it is, experts say. www.sun-sentinel.com/coronavirus/fl-ne-positivity-rate-florida-paints-rosy-pandemic-picture-20200715-cpwwngaefzdnpitbs7buh7zsei-story.html
