If I am reading this correctly... California Chrome's first crop is looking for it's first winner.
Perhaps it happens today in race 1 @ Delaware Park?

Guessing, Cilla was probably foaled in Louisiana and her dam bred back to Louisiana sire.

looked up Cilla, dam was net bred back in 2018, but the Louisiana bred rules are pretty loose... Foal has to be born in La, and Dam has to "live" in La except when shipping to be bred in another state. louisianabred.com/default.aspx?pid=23 |
