Jockey Mejias won that race. He broke well, saved all the ground and caught Prat and Baze napping 😴 entering the far turn. By the time the field hit the eighth pole it was all over, although Bejarano made it interesting late with South Beach. I’d bet South Beach back the next time he runs.

South beach always runs that race---nailed the tri--liked the winner in his last two starts, so I threw him in a 4-runner $1 box
