Hoop, his weight is holding fine. Baffert has a scale in the barn and that is something he monitors frequently.

As for the construction, funny I never noticed as seems as if CD is always under renovation. That is looking into the first turn and is where they usually have temporary corporate hospitality seating for Derby week and what used to be a parking lot for larger vehicles (buses I believe). I would have assumed they were taking some of that down, but I see quite a bit of dirt so not sure. I believe that area is under construction through the fall so I am sure we will hear more soon.

Thanks for the photos, Ozzy. He certainly is an impressive looking specimen of an athlete and even though the drought was recently ended, it is always good to celebrate another lofty achievement like a TC. I will cheer him wildly if he wins just as I will if he runs 3rd to my top 2. He has been thrilling to watch and I certainly look forward to the big Summer / Fall races that he enters. That said, I suspect 6 races in 16 weeks takes a toll.
