Pletcher has 19 horses listed in BP's races on Saturday but none in races 2-7-9. I have to assume this is some kind of record.

I counted 185 entries on the 14 race card [seem to have some extra time on my hands] for Saturday at GP. Trainers are entering their horses as if there won't be any more races to enter after Saturday, and that might well be true for a while.

Got a trainer friend down there. Backstrech thinks Saturday is the last day if they make it that long.

Have you been to a grocery store lately? When do they cancel that?
I know it's just entertainment but if the workers limit contact racing is no worse than shopping. Plus the workers seem willing. Now NY NO, no way they should race but if it hasn't hit an area hard why shut down? Ok I'm not aware how Florida is doing. Just saying, people are still working. Javier was listed with mounts and I saw no change. Racing must be doing something right (I know not possible ) if the workers who have a choice keep showing up.
Just heard the virus is live on cardboard for 24 hours. I was doing a lot of next day shopping through wallyworld and Amazon is hiring while their present workers seem very worried. I'll have to rethink carryout now.
might cost you more but if you really need alcohol I'd go for grain.

Just heard the virus is live on cardboard for 24 hours. I was doing a lot of next day shopping through wallyworld and Amazon is hiring while their present workers seem very worried. I'll have to rethink carryout now. I guess many people would be surprised that those who are caring for others who are elderly, immuno-compromised, receiving chemotherapy with barely any immune system in place, auto-immune diseases, etc. have practiced certain "behaviors" long before covid-19 ever reared its head. We do it "every day", 365 days a year. We don't get off airplanes and walk into homes of loved ones w/out a complete shower-down, change of clothing, etc. We don't wear shoes into the house, we don't open mail or packages anywhere where we eat or prepare food, etc. and then surfaces are disinfected afterwards. You can't bring the outside in when people are trying to stay alive. ZIGGY, I think take out is safe, esp if something you can re-heat...I would transfer the hot pizza into my own plate-ware, and throw the box away (and not put box on clean counter where prepare food). You get used to doing this stuff it becomes like 2nd nature. Just use common sense. At grocery store, have a list, get in/get out, do NOT touch face, mouth, nose, eyes while in there. That can you picked up to read the label may have been handled by stockers and other customers. If you need to, go to the rest room there and wash hands carefully then scratch your nose. This may be a bit extreme for some of you, but I think it's a good video, from a surgeon who is gonna show what actual "clean handling" means. I believe he has elderly parents who he shops for and takes no chances. somewhat educational so I will post it: you don't have to do all of this, but a few things may be helpful:

I was just saying on the cardboard. Then you think what else.
People would have hated me as president. Once it was an outbreak in China, all travel into the states would have been banned from anywhere.
There's part of me that says racing should stop. Then I think by what criteria? Is racing in the boonies going to spread this virus? There are tracks in smaller parts of the country. Have they stopped all travel, a bigger issue than running a horse around a track in my opinion. Is NO this bad off without Mardi Gras? Then I think about all the people that went home.
I'm somewhat home bound anyway. I have a rare condition that affects the legs so driving became an issue. What I have is genetic and somewhat complicated. By complicated I'm referring to it being over 80 different genetic causes for the same symptom, stiff crampy legs but they are all called HSP. I did 23andme and found 2 cousins, one who I know from a support group and the other with the family name in the disease line. I never thought the test would help me pinpoint a gene but I think I'm less than one in a million having strumpellin on gene 8.
Horse racing has been my daily outlet or 'work'. FYI to any playing GP for the first time recently, early foot has been dangerous. If using BRIS a lone E in the summary should be given a look. Also the early average being the highest also deserves a look. Coming from far back has been rough.

Actually racing was my 2nd job when Pimlico ran. I'd work nights and could watch the 1st five, bet the late races and off to work.

Kicking myself. Should have mentioned where else to look, the horse with the best last race early foot. I was looking at TONG SHU and just didn't pull the plug.
Lone E Krachenwagen wins the 7th, $17.60 hope you had him.

With the mandatory payout today, cancelation of Santa Anita, threats of legal action, FL outbreak worsening I think it is a given that today is Gulfstream’s last day for a while. Would imagine Oaklawn isn’t far behind and in no way do I believe they’ll run on 5/2.

5th race Early foot last race, Wind of Change $40 ... hope you used him and I think the race kind of cemented that speed's been dangerous. Have him in a pick 3 but really wanted 11 winning this.
