would be really interesting to see what factors they use(d) and how they weighted them. your link talks about total starts being a big factor but doesn't say which way... I thought the story of him spending a bunch of time collecting temperature data only to find out it wasn't important was pretty funny. I also noted they he mentioned days off as being important. That's a factor I think is way underrated since they banned steroids, especially true of fillies.
