#6 SOLE VOLANTE (9-1) was unhurried and raced six to five wide down the backstretch,

picked up the tempo leaving the backstretch, switched out wider midway through the turn,

raced five wide under steady pressure in the final furlong, stayed on with response and cleared the rest.

Pulpit Stakes 11/30/2019

#6 SOLE VOLANTE (13.70-1) settled nicely racing in or near the back through early stages,

picked up the pace late backstretch and steadily advanced near inside then two wide around the far turn,

roused forward under right handed pressure in upper stretch, took command near the furlong marker and kept sharp.

#2 SOLE VOLANTE (13.90-1) was allowed to settle out of the gate then saved ground in the first turn,

was unhurried and raced two wide down the backstretch, switched out three wide

and given cue near the quarter pole, came out wider for the drive and kicked clear.
