R4- #3- Mr. Maurice (6-1) ran here one week ago in a 6F dirt sprint, made a wide closing move, now stretches out on turf. Taking a positive view with Suarez aboard. #4- Ifeelgood (5-1) is a steady, one-paced type, can hit the board for low pct. connections. #5- Johnnythetireman (4-1) has some early foot, could stick around for a piece, Castanon up. #9- Tetsu (7-5) makes 2nd career start after turf-sprint debut in MSW at CNL in August, Thomas trains for Bob Lapenta, attracts Centeno. Probably just needs to be fit to beat this bunch, works say yes. #10- Moro Drama (12-1) ran okay on the turf here in July, steady series of drills for return. First-time gelding today. #1, #2 can be used underneath for sneaky trainers.

R5- Wide open 6.5F dirt sprint with familiar foes going at it. #1- Tudor Expectations (5-1) PA-bred Listed-stakes winner at GP in 2018, seems to be rounding back into that form over last few races while being protected from a claim. Excellent race last out at MNR against best sprinters on the grounds in Alwnc, now in for a tag today after four serious works over the track. All in. #2- Doodle Hopper (4-1) needs no introduction to TAM fans, 7yo gelding is a model of consistency, Rigattieri gave him a short breather after DEL closed. Sharp work over this track, Morales back in the irons, beat him to win. #3- Mr. Lightning Boy (7-2) is the speedy kryptonite to Doodle Hopper's closing punch. Should have a clear lead, but anything over 6F stretches him thin, pride of Ohio will be watching his mirrors. Clash of the titans. #5- Native Hawk (4-1) just ran won here Saturday in racehorse time against lesser, has never been better for Arriagada. Not out of this. #7- Be Gone Daddy (3-1) turns back in distance after a lengthy layoff, goes first time for trainer Sweezey. Not sure he's ready to win today, but his good races at GP are as fast any anybody in here, will be flying home but may not get there. The #4, #6 would be contenders in any other iteration of this race, but this is as good a non-stakes race as you'll see at Tampa. Should be fun to watch!
