fwiw, I am 25% breeder of a colt that just won a G2(by 7 3/4l @ 1/5) in Puerto Rico, and is now 3 for 3 down there. PRECISE DANCER was foaled up here, and no one wanted him. Sold for $5000 and ended up with Navarro @ GP. Ran twice there, first time very well. His full sis was pulled from a sale being very ill--never raced. His 1/2 SKY TEMPLE by Temple City, seems useful and is entered in the 5th @ CD Friday. The last foal before we sold the mare, is by Animal Kingdom. Decent looking--he was sold privately after the recent Md.2yo sale.
A very disappointing partnership---fortunate not to put my name on any of it.
I really liked SKY TEMPLE, and wanted to keep and race him but couldn't put it together alone at the time.

I remember a trainer at Calder telling me many years ago that if I wanted to lose even more money in horse racing then I should get into breeding - he was right ! 🤑
