This is all the conversation we get on Derby Week? Is the new site that difficult to navigate?

I've wondered the same thing. It's a little different but not enough to be an issue I would not think.

Gooch, kinda feels like a lot of folks haven't come over to the new forum for whatever reason. Most definitely not as much conversation going yet. Don't recall if the same thing happened when we moved from Bloodhorse to UIC.

New site probably has something to do with it. Could also be that this is a deep and puzzling field.

Not to worry.When TW runs his Spa Challenge this place will be buzzin.
Now to the task at hand.I was looking at past Derby winners and realized I have not picked the winner since 07 with Street Sense.That one was especially sweet because I scored good on him in the BC Juv.Also the year before I whacked Barbaro.That was nice too.Now as we all know we had a string of favorites.And I hate favorites,as you can tell by my dismal picks.This year it's a little different.This favorite could be one of the best we have seen yet.He's the only one that made me double take on what I just saw.I know he has more holes than Albert Hall but the way he's gone about business has been workman like.The other day he had that gate school.Cool as a cucumber and followed that up with a very nice jog.I don't want to give you the idea I'm a herd whisper,but I have had good success with visual(body language)handicapping.One reason I usually bet when they are behind the gate.I know we are a long way from behind the gate but that's what the pp's are for.You should be able to get this twenty down to six.Then it's up to them,they will tell you.From what I see this guy is going to fire big.If I do have one concern it's Good Magic.You can't throw many darts at him.As I see it he's the best value of the group.Somehow I just don't trust the TAP clan. One look at his pp's will explain that.He's batting 300 for the year but his Derby hit rate is dismal.What has changed.BTW, that string of looses I have had in the Derby were betting TAP's that looked like the next big thing. As Gooch asked about the strength of this years crop I see some top ones here,more than the last few.As they say time will tell.
