BC at SA questions

So, I don't follow the SoCal racing scene that much and really wasn't paying a great deal of attention to the saga at SA this Winter-Spring but I believe I saw one step taken by SA was to eliminate the downhill races on the Turf course. So, if I'm right about that, wondering what that means for the BC Turf Sprint and the Turf both of which used to start at the top of the hill. Don't really want to see a 5 F Turf sprint- I guess the 12 F Turf can be run around the normal turf course since most other mile tracks do it.
