Did not notice this until watching the replay, but did anyone notice this guy's stretch run? He was roaring down the lane, and on the gallop out. Makes me wonder what he was doing for the rest of the race. I had him underneath in some exotics (none of which would have won, anyway), but quit watching him when it looked like he was beaten. Next time? Not sure what to make of this.

I noticed him because I had a buck on him. It was only a fiver but I still kicked myself because I didn't like Leparoux on that horse - and commented that in the post I made a couple days ago. I think there's little chance they'll leave him over here but if they do I hope someone tells them to put someone on that horse named Ortiz or Castellano.

The horse simply didn’t belong imo. If you can’t get in to contention in a slowly run 12furlong race, then your options are limited. Maybe lowering the site to the Saturday 13th would have been a more realistic option?

He can't get into contention if the jockey doesn't try to put him in contention until it's too late to get him in contention. That will be my last word on it

Maybe Jose Ortiz will be on him as I don’t think he will be riding Tacitus again !

It seemed to me that he was "in contention" (a length or two back of Winston) earlier, it's just that he didn't do any running until the 16th pole.

Now staying in America to contest the new Turf Series to be run at Belmont and Saratoga. Should’ve a better fit for Leparoux too

I hope you're wrong! Jose would be great in him.
