Offered either INTREPID HEART or SPINOFF, I believe he has elected to stay with the former.

I like Bourbon War quite a lot. I mean, if you're going to go for the "Tapit Magic" I will take him over the other 2. Unlike everyone else I just think that the speed that Tacitus has is going to unbalance his stamina side, which is not true of Bourbon War. I am not one who believes in the tapit magic in the first place, but bourbon war has a whole lot of nice influences for going well over 9F, historically like lady capulet, el prado, malibu moon, tapit/pulpit/AP with Preach. Because there are so few races of this distance, it is very hard to gauge these horses because PPs only show what they did at shorter....and I think that is why the Belmont Stakes winner always surprises people. Maybe he will blossom. I'm still playing Everfast. I don't know if I said that or not yet, but will require playing a superfecta......I think he's like the Game on Dude guy. gotta play a speed horse, it's either him or Joevia and I think Everfast is better. THat said, I had my heart set on Game Winner or Country House for this specific race, but neither of them is running. So now I'm trying to find other horses I like, and I think their defection from this race helps Bourbon War a great deal. However, then I saw the "gallop". Not sure what to make of it. Horse and that particular exercize rider have no kismet, and/or the headgear is not comfortable, or War has a toothache or something. He had way too many head positons going on and I don't know enough about bridles and such to troubleshoot. What a beautiful horse though. I think Tacitus will run 2nd or 4th. I was originally liking Spinoff for my ticket too but not sure now that I like the pletcher horses at all but I think to spread an exotic I should use one of them. I guess I'm in the weeds for this race but it's only Wednesday so I still have some time to put things together.
