With Bev being in on the horse with Mike and Jamie, I’m all in on Bourbon War! Absolutely sick I didn’t invest with Bourbon Lane this year when Mike asked and especially more so now! At least we will all have the opportunity to enjoy Bourbon War as the latest Pinhook offering soon.
As much as I would enjoy a Bourbon War victory I have some hesitation as I am not sure the world is ready for the overnight sensation the kilted one would become.... in all seriousness, enjoy the day win or lose, wishing you racing luck and a safe return, and please do not try to go drink for drink with Mike!

Watching Trey & Mike this morning, former NHL star who is also a pretty good horse racing handicapper, Eddie Olczyk (Yes, that's really his name) is picking Bourbon War to upset the field. Olczyk and The Nag both pick The Bourbon - what could possibly go wrong?

I have to imagine that if/when Bourbon War wins the Preakness tomorrow then the folks at Dos Equis will want to hire Bev after seeing his celebration in the winner's circle. Now that would be a sight to SEE---Bev as the most interesting man in the world!!! Good Luck!!!!

Enjoy the ride this colt is giving you. Your jockey certainly knows him and is arguably the best jockey in the country. I hope he finds smooth sailing.
Now for a big understatement -This day would certainly be a good time for him to run a big race and best wishes for that to happen.

Kelly's Landing is my favorite fish and chips and ale place. Been there 100 times and all. Never knew there was a connection. I noticed just a month ago that they had an old Miami Herald page about Kelly's Landing Meydan win framed hanging on the wall between the entrance to the lad and lassie room.

Prior to the Preakness I saw an interview given by Mike McMahon on Bourbon War(back in the stable area). Normally I'll watch these and go on from there. But, something struck me in something he said. He said(going by recollection) that this race(Preakness) was not the end all, but they were looking for the summer at Saratoga to see him shine. I expect wherever they enter him(Saratoga) he will be "live". What better way to make the group of owners happy. (Also after the last two efforts he may be a price)
