Eye- it looks sketchy but from going thre for 35 years, the outlook can change for the better or worse, pretty quickly. As far as the track goes, it drains incredibly well, though it does have its limitations if the duration and quantity of rain is too much.

Shoes, from what I understand if they get a lot of rain the inside is where you want to be. Might come into play.

Shoes, from what I understand if they get a lot of rain the inside is where you want to be. Might come into play. That has been my experience. During a couple of years, Calvin Borel seemed to be the only jockey that understood that. Now Corey Lanerie is sort of filling that role.

One scenario that would make my ticket making easier would be if (it rains a lot) Omaha Beach draws 3-6 hole, Maximum Security and War of Will draw outside...can see Mike taking the rail, sitting in second or third for most of the trip, then in home stretch having a horse with a lot left in the tank to be first at the wire. (A lot of "if's", but sitting on how I play by post draw and race scenarios...and weather)
