I have cutting humor running 5th. Will be interesting to see how close (or far) I am from that place.

Watched the Roadster and Game Winner works. To my uncultured eye, Roadster looked quicker in the work, Game Winner looked stronger on the gallop out. Now, if I could only figure out what that means.....

I already liked Win Win Win as a board crasher, but I thought this was very impressive, all the way through the gallop out...skip to the 43:00 mark.

interesting work yesterday when WWW working in company hooked up with Tacitus and Country House in the stretch.WWW ran past the Mott duo and was game in the gallop out. This could be one of those give and take works.I doubt Trombetta was jumping for joy after that.Or maybe he was.

Following up on the work that TW and Doc commented on above. Hooper
“When you first see them, you hope that they don't drop over in front of you, because we had already started our work before the five-furlong pole,” Mott told drf.com. “But the other team did a very good job, they were very courteous, they stayed out and let us continue our work, and then they swung wide and the one horse joined up with us finishing up. It turned out great. It didn't do any harm to us. I'll commend Julian Pimentel – he worked Win Win Win, and he was courteous and did a great job. It worked out well for everybody, I think. It probably worked out just as well for them as it did for us.”

Improbable. As good as you could want. Always looked liked he wanted to do more.Changed leads at the top of the stretch and just started reaching out. Upgrade. Hooper

Hoop I've been in Improbs corner all year but after letting Toddy get by then not being able to close an inch against Omaha in the last 4 furlongs of the mile and an 8th I fear that City Zip breeding is telling a tale of a horse that won't get a mile and a quarter. Of course I could be wrong.

Listened to clocker Gary Young on Scot Shapiro's podcast. Two observations: CD was very bouncy (fast) on the weekend- therefore works may have been a bit faster than the norm and SA has been slower this year, so works done there may have been a bit slower than the normal (fast) SA standards.

You are right about Santa Anita works Shoes.
Typically baffert horses would be working 6f in 1:11 n change. NONE of that this year.
