All Stakes Pick 4 is the best card of the day. There are a few standouts but after Baffert took a double dip at odds on, anything can happen.
10th - CORE BELIEFS - thought this hirse had some ability last year. Hasn’t been seen since the Pa Derby but he is working smartly. Picks up Geroux and although it will be tough from the 11 post off the layoff, that’s why I’ll get double digit odds. Bandua can be dangerous if he takes to dirt. Supposedly has been training well over it.
11th - INSPECTOR LYNLEY - coming back again with him. What’s not to like about a horse sired by one of my favorite sires and trained by one of my favorite trainers! His Beyers put him right there with the two favorites (Bricks and Synchrony) and he’ll be 3 times the price.
12th - SERENGETI EMPRESS looks like a single to me
13th - COUNTRY HOUSE - hoping Mott can strike again with a lightly raced 3 year old. Had some bad luck and was green down the stretch in the Risen Star. Has been training smartly and although War Of Will looks unbeatable on paper, remember Baffert. Will throw in Sueno on my ticket
Good Luck Steve

I won't exclude either of the Pletcher/JR runners. Those two are used to coming home with the money when they show up in New Orleans and as a combo this year are lights out at 47% last 60 days and 70% ITM.
10th BANDUA on the surface switch and NOBLE INDY(see above) who is either going to the lead or sitting a perfect trip in the pocket off Mr Buff and Copper Bullet. Tough to get past his ugly form after the La Derby but he's been laid up/gelded and the sprint comeback race at GP was a workout. Some chance he fires here.
11th Scratched down to a 6 horse field(4,5,9,10 out) Bricks and Mortar or Divisidero(massive rider switch)the only two I'll use.
12th Heaviest use on the chalk Serengetti but I'll have the rest of the field for the minimum in case something goes with her early and the race falls apart.
13th Spinoff a single to bust the race open on the turn and hold off the stalkers/closers.
4,9/2,7/all/10 x .50 = 16
4,9/2,7/2/10 x 5.00 = 20

A comment on Iran Ortiz aboard 2-1 shot in the 4th. He stands up in the stretch and briefly stops urging his horse finishes second to big long shot #8 Temprano who paid $100 to win. I don't know that he was going to win, but the optics were horrible.
Long shot pick:
7th race at the Fairgrounds
I mile on the turf Maiden special weight.
#1 Candizar 20-1 morning line.
Ran OK as a 2 year old last fall in 3 turf starts getting a competitive 80 speed figure in his 3rd race. Next in the dirt slop he gets crushed in a race won by War of Will. He comes back as a 3 year old on a sloppy track washed off the turf and again doesn’t take to it at all. Now he gets back to firm turf. Candy Ride is an excellent turf sire. The 8 and 4 likely chalks, do also make sense in this race.

The Ortiz bro's are in this ....will be interesting to watch....the slip in , sixteen has as good a shot ...the odds really do not give the horses a fair shake....lol..?Any one ready and conditioned just right and gets the position and good unhindered ride will win this....lol..

Race ten....my horse has been scratched...the seven... And the eleven and four are my second and third choices at publichandicapper....lol..and hope the four wins at big odds....lol...at least I hope I put the four in the second slot as I thought and think the eleven would be the one to beat hear....lol...and had I last week put a horse into a win position instead of in the second slot I would be in ninth or tenth place at publichandicapper...lol...
