Those odds on Instagrand are just plain silly. Expect this sprinter to finish off the board. Watch the Show pool... bridge-jumpin' time?
Mike Smith on the Pioneerof the Nile colt is a Much Better bet. Note... 5 of 8 entries are "Early speed running style helps chances" types.
Haikal with Rajiv Maragh wiil be flying late @ home track... 6/1 overlay alert?

I'm also liking Haikal based upon what looks to be a hot pace setting it up.

Another for Haikal closing into what should be a quick pace. To hit the board, at least.

I've got to take a stand against a huge fave that has not run in 200+ days, flew cross country and has an erratic work pattern. Will be watching the exacta probables. Good luck! Hooper

Nice call by many on the winner and predicting the pace scenario. To be honest, not much coming out of here has me excited about their Derby prospects although I did think Mind Control ran a decent race in defeat as did Much Better to a lesser extend. I thought Instagrand was horrendous as he appear to hang the entire stretch but to be expected considering his woks had been dull, he was off the long layoff, etc. Bottom line, this one-turn, one mile race with a blistering pace has me thinking these are all 6f to 1 mile horses at most. I wouldn’t expect to see any make an impact on 5/4 unless some crazy pace scenario played out as nothing looks really like 1 1/4 horse here.
