I see the 2019 Tampa Bay Derby as A Tale of Two Tapits. DREAM MAKER 4/1 - distance won't be a problem come May, and TACITUS 12/1 - (FTL) first-time lasix, moving UpInClass.

TW,Badactor Tacitus is from the same female family as our 2yo Camelot filly in France. Cheers! Hooper

Mott could have as many as 3 in the Big One... Tacitus is not nominated but I would think they supplement now.

Nice call by many on Tacitus who I backed but used in exactas only with Dream Maker who really disappointed. Watching the race on TVG I really couldn’t see who was making the winning move and didn’t think it was Tacitus with the purple cap instead of the traditionally Juddmonte pink.
The time was eye-catching as stakes record but seemed to be fairly swift splits and overall track seemed to be playing very fast on the day. Guessing he’ll go in Wood or Bluegrass next out and will be very interested to see how he rebounds.
