Code of Honor was going to be my BC Juvenile horse before scratching, now I just don't know. I guess he had a trip excuse last out? From the 1 hole at GP, does JV need to use him out of the gate?

Would love to see Mott get his Derby, but can't take 9/5, even if he's a freak. Global Campaign/Code of Honor/Bourbon War for a contrarian exbox. Mebbe with HS in the tri or Vekoma or both. Not a fan of Signalman, which means he probably wins.

I like Code of Honor here too Shoes.I don't think JR needs to send him.His best chance is to stay on the rail and stalk. just off.I just hope he doesn't mind the kick back. Can't get too far off on this track.Works are as good as they get, looks ready to fire.I think we see all of that 6/1

I have no problem putting Hidden Scroll on top. Bourbon War should benefit the most from an honest to fast pace from the back of the pack. Too many question marks for me regarding the other contenders in terms of distance/two turns and time off between races.
Vekoma is fast but I'm betting he's best at one turn and maybe even a top sprinter later this year.
I can see the interest in Code Of Honor but the distance and setup look a little better for Bourbon War.
7-4 exacta's and tri's with some Bourbon War savers underneath in the 3rd slot in tri's.

I just want to see Scroll run. In a field of big guns, I think he might be just a single shot pistol.
The other one I want to watch is Global Campaign. I don't think he'll win in his first shot against the big names who have already established their quality but if he hits the board and shows a marked improvement he might be someone follow next out.
Looking at the race he ran in the Holy Bull, closing well to miss the win by one length at 140/1, how could anyone leave Everfast out of the gimmicks? He might be a one-and-done or he might be a horse that just woke up.
Vekoma running with first time Lasix deserves a second look.
Bourbon War - looked great in his maiden win. Looked terrible in the Remsen when finishing 4th, 6 lengths behind the show horse. And then looked good behind in an allowance race. You have to think he might just be a good allowance horse and nothing else. The key word here is "might". We'll learn a lot more about him today.
Without having a solid reason I just feel Signalman is a step below a real derby horse. He's certainly paid for himself self in spades with his 2 year old season. His Ky Jockey Club win last Nov was over the slop and was won in a squeeker. I wonder why McPeek waited until for three months to take the wraps of to run him again?
I have no real clue of Code of Honor's poor showing in the Mucho Man race. Did the bump at the end of the race cause him that much distress? If so, the last place he should be is in a 20-horse field. He stumbled at the start of the Champaign last Oct but still finished 2nd. I don't think he'll get much action.

Sometimes one stays loyal to past picks to one's detriment and sometimes it works out. Full credit to Doc for making me feel better about his chances, as I was wavering.

Bourbon War ran pretty solid, got started a bit late. Galloped out way in front of the winner. Alw race last time was a 1.5 on Tgraph, which is pretty serious. Probably ran similar # in this.
Hated this silks though... should have worn the minority partners silks. Probably would have won.
Too bad the Turfway stake isn't a bit later. Dam was a G1 winner on Poly and Tapits seem to run on anything. Will be interesting to see him on turf hopefully after the TC races.

Hidden Scroll had one of those "open up the lungs" kind of races. Not bad for a second career start. I say he moves forward off this if he stays healthy.
