... and I know it was a sloppy track MSW but the debut winner in the GP 4th on Pegasus Day, Hidden Scroll, sure looked impressive with a much faster time than the Grade III Hooper for older horses later in the card. Love the Northern Dancer line though Danzig and Hard Spun.

Never to early when a horse like Hidden Scroll breaks maiden at a mile by double digit lengths in 1:34 & change while being eased. Might've been his affinity for the slop and an inside bias, but "Lord have mercy"... Juddmonte,Again!!!!

Hard Scroll, Hidden Scroll, to early, too early. Not my best writing. At least I could edit it. :-)

Welsh-DRF today.
“We’ll let him tell us where to go next,” Mott said. “He had always impressed us in the morning, but naturally you never expect one to win first time out the way he did. The track was pretty packed down at the time, and while he ran faster than the stakes race later in the card, the track might not have been quite so hard by then. The best thing about this horse, looking down the road, is that he’s got a great disposition, and that means everything. But it still remains to be seen if rushing him along to make the Derby is the right thing to do. We’ll just have to wait and see.”
