Nice job!! From center of the course to inner rail to inner tape back to inner rail to a full speed drift across the homestretch to the other rail....she destroyed that group. Looks like they ran about 2100 meters in that 2000 meter race.
What does "Class 2" mean over there and what's next for her?

Some trainer speak will be coming during the week. Still a touch green with her leads, we have cured her ulcers, some more upside coming. Hoping the half sister can grab a G1 this year.
From the boss. Dear Partner, Attendante won on the lead today, earning a crack at a black-type race. She made an early run for home in order to stretch the field and then found another gear when challenged. She figures to run farther than the 2100 meters she ran today.

Good morning... yep, my backward math was wrong. Tuning in now to see what happened... did we run well?
EDIT : watched the replay. tracked in 2nd. maybe moved too early. steady run finishing 4th. nonetheless, she sure is pretty when she runs.
silly question... are her ears just a wee bit larger than the other girls?

It's funny... as a kid, I always rooted against Kareem. Until he became a Laker... then he was on OUR team! As a horseplayer, I rooted against Animal Kingdom. Held a grudge for those green & red Team Valor silks. Now..... well sir, there's nothing quite like the feeling of seeing OUR silks cross the finish line first! Thank you.

Hoop, just watched Heliabel's last race. That was a big improvement over anything on the soft going. She finished pretty strong, considering she never changed leads in the stretch. Looks like she's entered in a couple of races next week. Hope one of them works out for her.

Pro,we'll probably enter her in a racing/broodmare sale before the end of the year. She is a big, strapping Camelot filly with plenty of physical presence. Still waiting on "the turn of foot" to show up. Attendante and her half sister Fleeting will determine this partnership's profit or losses. I'm hopeful of a good black type showing or two from both of them in the next 8 weeks.

HELIABEL FACES 10 TOMORROW AS THIRD TOP-RATED FILLY IN RACE CAMELOT FILLY
PROBABLY MAKING HER LAST START FOR TEAM VALOR LONG-FUSED FILLY ENTERED
TO BE SOLD AS JUMP PROSPECT IN NOVEMBER Heliabel is among nine horses to contest the seventh race at Lyon la Soie tomorrow.
The Camelot filly won her debut at this course in February before turning in 2 performances
on the turf that made it clear that she was most effective on the synthetic surface.
Heliabel returned to the all-weather in Deauville in August where she put in a one-paced
effort to finish fourth, whereupon it was decided that she would be entered in the November
sales as a broodmare prospect. In a twist of fate Team Valor’s recent success in France with steeplechase horses has brought to the stable’s attention how lucrative the discipline can be. There is a strong market for flat racing horses in training to be converted to jumping horses. Therefore, Heliabel will be sold as a horse in training to become a jumping prospect. Heliabel has already proven that she can stay 2,500 meters,
which is a promising sign for potential buyers looking to convert her.
In addition to her staying form Heliabel is quite a tall filly,
which should add to her appeal for the jumping discipline. Heliabel holds the third highest rating of the horses in tomorrow’s race of 70.5
and will receive a 5.5 pound advantage from the topweight horse.
On ratings alone Heliabel should be carrying a single kilogram less than the highest rated horse,
however, with female jockey Mickaelle Michel on board she is eligible to take advantage
of the female jockey weight claim rule in France. Topweight in tomorrow’s event is Mixologist which is rated 73.
The gelding has won two races from eight starts in 2020, most of which were
at tomorrow’s distance of 2,400 meters. Mixologist will make his first start back
on the all-weather since running fifth on debut at Deauville at this time last year.
On the turf he is a consistent performer running to a 73 or 74 rating in each of his eight starts this year. Kongastet is the second highest rated horse in tomorrow’s event.
The American Devil 3-year-old has run 24 times and remains a maiden,
although he has placed in 21 of those races. The versatile colt ran on the all-weather
at Deauville at 2 and has proven at 3 he can run anywhere between 1,600 to 3,000 meters
and consistently earn within a point of his 72 rating. Le Reveur Fou, which translates to ‘the crazy dreamer’ has made his last two career starts
on the all- weather at Deauville. The gelding is also by Camelot and has earned a rating of 68
in each of his last three starts, the most recent resulting in a career best third place finish
when stretching out to 2,500 meters. Tomorrow’s race will be run at 7:45 PM in France which is 1:45 PM EST.
This race can be watched live with a free account at France-Galop
online or at TVG online, NYRA bets or Twinspires.

Dell, It is very important to me to show my family, friends and forum members some of the "behind the scenes" of the industry. You and TW were the latest to experience some of the highs, lows and bullsh!t in the industry with our ownership. We still have some hope that Attendante will get in a couple of more starts before the end of the year. The ride isn't over just yet. Cheers! Jim

I'm glad that Heliabel will get another crack at racing success. There is some talent there that just hasn't fully developed yet. Attendante was always going to be the key horse of the foursome, with a GI-placed half-sibling (Fleeting). When she won on Travers Day this summer, with QuickCall and BestBet watching with us, that was one of my happiest moments in racing. I've been hoping to see Fleeting in one of the season-ending GIs but she is not among any entries I've looked at. Do you know anything about O'Brien's plans Hoop?

Heliabel in a sale this month. Attendante put away for the winter, to run as a 4yo. No idea what happened to her black type half sister Fleeting after June's race. Getting info from Coolmore can be tough at times but I'm trying.
