Champions Day card begins at 8:40pm EST, the first big stakes race is at 11:50pm EST.
Recent Everest Stakes (GI) winner & runner-up Bella Nipotina & Giga Kick square off again in the Sprint. Mr Brightside drops back to a mile seeking to regain winning form against speedball mare Pride Of Jenni and My Oberon in the Mile. Last year's Melbourne Cup (GI) winner Without A Fight makes his first reappearance on a racetrack since then in the Champions Stakes, facing recent Caulfield Cup (GI) winner Duke De Sessa and Cox Plate (GI) winner Via Sistina.
Also noticed that young Irish jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle, who rides a lot for Joseph O'Brien, has a mount in each race. Hopefully he's staying for a while to gain some international experience. Sure beats riding at all-weather Dundalk under the lights for the winter.
