 i had him on my list and then removed him early Friday morning. 

THis is what happens when people don't give credit to non super-trainers, they end up going off at 30-1+ odds.  

This is one I will still put in my virtual stable as he will be under the radar to many people.  Everyone will be ga ga over the Baffert horse who will be long gone by the time this one turns 3:

To my eye a very nice dirt pedigree:  too bad a euro horse as we probably won't get to see him much again unless they condition him for the TC races

Not everyone slept...

I used him successfully in the Del Mar Challenge contest.
The more I looked, the more I was sure he'd hit the board.
$100 SHOW brought home a tidy $1,040.00 in the contest.
He paid $20.80 for a very nice board crashing performance.

Loved the Gone West & Strawberry Road on top
and didn't mind the Kingmambo & LDK on bottom.

Way to go Dell! That kinda overshadows my 2-2-2 on him for a nice 20.80 back on a $6 investment. I also liked the breeding and thought he made a good appearance when I saw him on one of the Breakfast at the Breeder's Cup shows.

Update:

Even though I think it is probably a folly to bet in the Derby futures pool (which closed before the running of the Juvenile), the first week in November, and I have never done it this early before, I did this year because I think it's fun and I've had some success in other futures pools before. I did put $2 each on five horses. I included Hill Road. I just checked and he closed as the longest shot in the 38 horse (plus all other fillies and all other colts) field at 276-1!

 I always like your picks.  Mostly because you always post them early, so I know your thoughts are your own.  I think you have a lot of really good longshots as a result.   I wasn't following your delmar picks since it's not a track I play, but I am not at all surprised that you picked him.
