I’m posting on this gal because she has a special place in my heart. I’ve been following her since the summer and in her last I singled her in the last leg of a pick 3. This is a favorite handicapping tool of mine. After a 30-1 win the first and a 5-1 won the second, O was sitting on a $426 payout. She lagged early and at the 1/16 pole she got into gear and got up at the wire! I’ve watched the race a million times (it’s taped on my phone) and still don’t know how she got up!
My point is that I think Lake Victoria lays all over this field. I will put the 3 longshots on some pick 3 saver tickets but I will try to hook them up under Lake Victoria. The 3 are Abientot, Casse’s other horse Vixen and Scythian.

Whoever made her 30-1 m/l needs a timeout. Casse and everyone at the barn are high on her. She's just a little filly though, that's why she doesn't work much between races. We saw her break her maiden at Saratoga (6-1, ka-ching.) She's a very talented runner with a good turn of foot, progressing every race. Dylan Davis fits her well. He's riding great right now and is adept at reading the race correctly, saving ground, and finishing strong. The short stretch at Del Mar doesn't do them any favors, but she could rally late for a piece.

Nice hit in the Matron, she was so far back and still got there.

Thank you for the interesting write up on Abienot. I hope she gets in the tri since I posted her in my contest picks and my general Friday picks as well.

A real longshot though. So is Kilwin.

Actually there are a ton of longshots in this race.... because the #1 is taking all the moolah.
