Tepin, a Hall of Famer and two-time Eclipse Award winner as champion turf female, has died at age 12.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien confirmed the Bernstein mare's death on Saturday to multiple media outlets after her daughter Grateful, by Galileo, won the Group 1 Prix de Royallieu at Longchamp. Coolmore staff later confirmed to the Paulick Report that the mare died in 2023.
