Doesn't this one have to be live TW? Rachel King will forgo rides at two of Australia’s richest meetings in a bid to chase history next month, skipping Victoria Derby Day at Flemington and Golden Eagle Day at Rosehill to instead ride at the Breeders’ Cup meeting in the United States. King will become the first ever Australian resident to ride at the unofficial world championships in its 40-year history when she partners the Noriyuki Hori-trained Satono Carnaval in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf (1m) at Del Mar on November 1. Trainer Hori record when shipping. His record outside of Japan, all at Group 1 or Group 2 level between Australia, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, reads 27 starters for six wins, five seconds, seven thirds and two fourths. idolhorse.com/horse-racing-news/world/king-bypasses-australian-riches-to-join-japanese-contingent-at-breeders-cup/

Im gearing up to play the Melbourne Cup as I do every year, so gotta hand it to King, Moore, and Buick who will have to fly from BC races to AUS to compete on both continents. Go Vauban!

Not sure that O'Brien or Appleby have a lock on this year's renewal. I think Qatar Racing's New Century might be best, but he'll need a heady ride from Oisin Murphy to not get too far back early. Satano Carnaval is my top pick currently, she might just run them off their feet under Rachel King. Dream On and Mentee are the only other early-pace types that I can see.
Great story behind Minaret Station from the Will Walden (son of Elliott, WinStar Farm) barn. In 2024 their stats are 114/23-23-12 with stable earnings of $1,755,884. I can root for this deep closer.
