#3- Herchee (12-1) is a 3yo Twirling Candy colt, out of a Theatrical dam. Two wins in two turf mile starts, now goes for winner’s share of $1.5M purse. Helen Pitts trains, she trained Einstein and broke Curlin’s maiden before he was sold. Will have some of my $$ riding along.

Like your call on #3. Will look to 3/8 ExBx.
Also, liked #4 in Race 3 at Del Mar. just watched race. Did Mike Smith think they were going a mile instead of 5f? I don’t think the instructions were break forward, then take back to last, then sit chilly the rest of the way until wire, and gallop out past everyone. I like Mike, but you gotta at least break a sweat. Must be looking to score at big odds next time. Hopefully more aggressive jockey next time; not a fit for Mike.

I was baffled the whole meet until last Saturday when a 3race streak (3rd 4th 5th)turned it around and even covered a tough loss with the Ravens Thursday. When colebrook’s Caravaggio stoned through in the rail and won I should have quit for the day instead of trying to beat the late chalk.
I love playing ky downs, however it is like playing Turfway—-never bet a lot on anything, and sit tight until the last 100 yards. asmussens turf sprinter is unreal. Hopefully I can lay off until keeneland. Anything big overseas, 10f?

Lots of familiar names running. Longchamp has some good racing as well. 14th- Doncaster- Champagne (GII), Park (GII), St. Leger (GI)

Thank you! Enjoy Irish racing and have a decent shot playing it, + they let us do $.50 tris.
Not so much with French racing, though I was fortunate to spend a weekend @ Longchamp in the Tribune Reserve 30 years ago.
