I meant to review yesterday's picks, 2 that I wasn't that hot on and was going to drop them If none scratched. I didn't play day one this year because I did last year and the track seemed to not favor the style of the picks. If anybody had picked that horse day 1 this year I would have used him too. Kicking my butt for 40 days.

Great as always Tom and a great tourney to all that played .... and of course day 1 is going to be tough in ziggyland next year!

Final day of the Spa and the unofficial farewell to summer. Thanks to Tom for the dedication he shows in tabulating the scoring and keeping folks in line and to Bev for his clever and entertaining daily recaps. A Top 3 finish would be a honor, although a lot of hand wringing over a few selections made and even more over a few not, but the recaps always make the contest an enjoyable time. Three left to fire so here goes:

Race 6: Ozzy - duh. Again, likely a wasted pick but simply can’t have him go today and not select as would never live it down were to hit and didn’t have, especially at 15-1 on the final day

Race 8: High Front is the pick. Our Shot more likely or Big Invasion but need a price if want to have a chance to win that Cup!

Race 12: Tour Jete

Can’t remember how closing day goes as I know typically we do not use alternates but if something freaky were to happen my alternate would be Race 9: Next on Stage.
