Looks a little chalky here.
Distance and pace favor My Boy Jack unless the equipment change really moves Noble Indy forward. Need something like Lone Sailor closing into the exotics to spice up the payouts.

Interesting dilemma for Pletcher. Noble Indy looks like he could use another race before the Kentucky Derby but the Lexington is the only one that would fit well and hard to see that move made. Have a future on that horse and hoping he'll develop a lot between now and May 5th.

You have a great price on Noble Indy(if from the last pool at 60-1).
Pletcher usually goes with more time between races which means no other prep is likely. Ideal spacing with him is five weeks into the Derby. This would be six weeks for Noble Indy. Horse is clearly talented and the blinkers helped yesterday.
Seems like Magnum Moon and Noble Indy are the same horse and maybe even Audible the other Pletcher. They like to be up near the front stalking/pressing.
For Derby purposes I prefer My Boy Jack out of the top 3 finishers yesterday if he makes the race. That was not Kent Desormeaux's finest ride but the way things are shaping up it looks like a closer or two could make an impact this year.

I hope Jack makes the Derby field. Good race yesterday despite questionable ride and no racing luck. Obviously, he can run on a fast track, and distance should not be a problem. Pretty sure he will be on my ticket.

DRF reporting that top two are heading to the Derby, no additional prep. I figured as much but still think Noble Indy could use another race. It's one of the dilemmas facing trainers going through Fairgrounds once they moved the LA Derby back a bit. Big, yep, threw $10 on Noble Indy in last futures pool.
