Just had a nice conversation with Spanky........
He is happy that football season is right around the corner..... has been watching some Olympics..... Broken shoulder makes so he can't type........ Told him I would update you here on the forum and also have permission to give his number to those who may want to call him...... Inbox me a message and I will send it to you......
Be aware that he doesn't always answer but I informed him he should try to return calls as people really do want to hear how he is doing..... Seems to perk him up to know that.......

all is well in west texas. shoulder is fine although it has affected my fastball. my oldest could throw in the low 90'sin high school an coul throw n decet curve to mix in. I could hit mid 80's on occasion....who cares, right? It,s been awhile since I've posted but I haven't kept up with sports much. I do think my Cowboys and Houston will have 12 win seasons. How about those Bungles spider?

Ohio governor sent the national guard to Springfield yesterday, where a town of 50k has added 15k Haitians simply dropped off with no plan whatsoever…who knows what they are eating……

The cats/ducks/geese topic is a typical media sideshow to avoid the real issue of 15k migrants deposited into an already struggling 50k Midwest city. No real plan or initial local govt involvement. I do know people there, and it is not an OK situation.

We can go beyond that failed bill.
All schools and govt offices in Springfield have been closed and evacuated due to various threats coming from wherever and whomever.
But will the state ranked high school football happen? lol
Maybe an away game lol
This isn’t Texas, Florida , Arizona or California or border state…

Just one playbook for the Republican candidate, play off people's fear,anger and hate. It worked up until now, people seeing him for what he is now. You can smell the fear. You can see the fear. It's there for all to see. |

NO POLITICS didn’t create this—as I said, NO POLITICS, Harris and Mayorkas(a pawn spinmeister)…

Dale, I've always been NPA (no party affiliation...use to be an Independent, but here in FL there is an Independent Party (go figure)...so NPA ) Character is very important to me. (first and foremost) Policies second. I've always felt that between parties (Republican and Democrat) there was a balance.(when one won, then the next) That the business interests and the social interests would be served. Both important, there being a balance between the two. (so both can prosper) We are now in a completely different situation. We have someone who is clearly neither(Republican or Democrat). Someone who trashes members of our armed forces. Someone who frequently quotes autocrats and dictators. Someone who looks to sow fear,anger and hate. Someone who is clearly narcissistic, who cares little for you or I and does everything possible to benefit himself. Someone who poses a danger to the very fabric of society. He would be dangerous should he regain the White House. All this said, it's a mystery why Steve and yourself still see this man in any positive light. This for me is the most important vote I'll ever cast. As much for you guys, as for myself.

I never wanted NO POLITICS first time, second time or this time. I remembered that outside of total refusal to accept his win, the country was better off during his tenure. Not much worry about china, Russia, Iran of terrorism outside of his haters. Everyone I know in business was doing better and optimistic. Workers were improved—particularly minority owners/workers.
All changed with NO POLITICS/Harris—destructive riots(aka peaceful protests), gender insanity, ridiculously open borders, record level inflation(insane wasteful govt spending) and threatening global unrest(kicked off by a disastrous Afghanistan withrawal) cause question about what our govt is really doing. Media bias and spin grew to what should be seen as at an unacceptable level.
outright lying and manipulation about major concerns. Most of us watched a debate where the “monitors” constantly challenged NO POLITICS , yet gave Harris a pass on her “lies”(as the media likes to say). Granted—NO POLITICS crapped on himself Tuesday evening. , Both candidates were frightening--the combined level of "lies" had to be a new record imo...
Dems have run the White House and congress for 12 of the last 15 years, so all problems can’t be laid on NO POLITICS . Despite the promises of bringing us together, we are more polarized. The rhetoric from NO POLITICS, Harris and the media is as poisonous as anything coming from NO POLITICS (so yes— it is bad). I have known JD Vance since he was a child. I hired him when he turned 16. His rise to where he is is an inspirational story regardless of where you stand. I in contrast to the media portrayal, he has grown to be an incredibly aware competent 40yo. I was 10 miles from Springfield this morning. The situation created by the “legal” migrant dropoffs should never have happened, and I would expect most of us to agree.
We have an evenly divided nation— metro areas dominantly blue— everything else strongly red. Who is the person to change this?
I can’t find them. The worst governments that we have experienced are when one party controls everything(doesnt matter which one).
