Hey folks... our friend Spanky had a slight mishap this morning and found himself on the floor with a possible busted shoulder. Awaiting X-ray results and diagnosis, he's feelin' a might sore and could use a bit of cheering up & a few supportive thoughts.

Bet well soon Spank or 3 Bookeys will be out of business, especially if it's the side you write you checks with. (All in good fun!)

I've spoken with him everyday since he fell and I've read him your posts. He is sore and frustrated not being able to raise or use his right arm. Spanky says it's quite a sight seeing him try to eat his meals left-handed. They've got him scheduled with a physical therapist. He's a little depressed, but our conversations seem to brighten his spirits. I'll ask him tomorrow if it's ok to have a few forum friends call and spend some phone time with him. He did say he truly appreciates your kind thoughts and words of encouragement. "We sure do have some good people on our forum, don't we?" "Yes we do, Spanky... yes we sure do."

Sorry to hear about your accident, Spanky. Nothing worse than falling out of bed when you are not even fully awake, what a bewildering shock when it happens. Maybe put some padding next to the bed on the side that is not against the wall. My big 76 pound lab used to fall off the bed, like this guy: (hope laughing doesn't hurt your shoulder!)
