Hate the weather for Whitney Day which is a card I always love. Hope it doesn’t dull the enthusiasm and opportunity for everyone as think money to be made for sure!
Classicist getting tons of buzz for Pletcher in R5 for the 2YOs but better later.
Will always bet Smokin T in honor of the Mrs but More Than Looks well meant and see him winning en route to a start in the Shadwell Mile, then BC Mile.
Greatest race I ever saw in person was the 2002 Test battle between You and Carson Hallow. Solid renewal today for certain.
Cogburn kills me as never back him, Big Invasion always burns my cash so guessing this is the day the roles reverse.
Like Disarm to run his best in the Whitney as see it as a day with an upset

Watch Race 3 at Del Mar. I’ve seen this movie SO many times. Mario Guitierrez is the F*CKING weakest jockey in the stretch. If it wasn’t for Reddam and O’Neilll than Mario would be 6% at some third tier track. Guy never lays on the line anymore for race supporters. Prob nice guy, horrible jockey with weight on the line. Sucks he was horizontal default bet because of gate scratch.
Mario, can you get on your belly in the stretch just once other than the Kentucky Derby. Just AWFUL!

Maybe .. . But All things that went wrong shoulda made his job easier. I don’t think he comes back to dismount being sweaty too often. Wish O’Neill - or any Redd trainer - could ride other Jockeys.
You have rewarded Mario for the Derby wins. Time to move on.
