1500M finals at 2:50. Could be race of the year. Lived up to your hype. Kerr drifts off the rail to block Nuguse and Hocker slips up the rail . Ingbrigtsen had nothing left in the tank. |

INGEBRIGTSEN breaks his own Olympic record and does not medal. 6 runners under 3:30.
And Gabby moved to Massachusetts at age 9, high school and college grad in state.

The 1500m was to me always the centerpiece of the Olympics . Seems strange that they would hold it on a Tuesday evening / afternoon.

I think they schedule events to make it easier to enter more than 1. Ingebrigsten (4th) and Kessler (5th) both running heats Wednesday in 5000 and 800 respectively.

Loved the 10,000, it's the most relatable race for me as I ran many of them, albeit a lot slower. The 5 and 10 double is most impressive. Re the 4x100 relay, I know at that speed it's not as simple as it looks (or at least how it looks for most of the world), but geez.
