Which do you prefer...
Stuffing or Dressing?
White Meat or Dark Meat?
Cranberry Sauce...
with Berries or Jellied?
Are you Cooking or just Eating?
I am blessed to have TWO invitations for dinner this year... Thanksgiving is my 2nd favorite holiday - the day after Christmas,
Dec. 26th, Opening Day @ Santa Anita Park, is my #1 favorite holiday!

My answers: Dressing cooked outside of the bird, White meat (love the breasts), Cranberry sauce with berries.
For those who are traveling... may we all come home safely!

All of this talk of food is making me hungry. But no one has mentioned a beverage to go with it. Tomorrow we're trying a Riesling from the Rheingau district of Germany, perhaps a bit on the sweet side, but still refreshing. Should go well with the turkey.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Main difference between stuffing and dressing is one is cooked in the bird and the other is cooked outside the bird......basically they are the same.....

Has to be stuffing. Speaking of which it looks like Spanky got stuffed again at the Fantasy Football this week. Maybe he should stick to cornhole.

CornHOLE? Please tell me that's a typo Mr. Hendry! A rare blunder? You must mean cornbread. As for the fantasy football score, well done.

Typo does not appear in my dictionary Spanky. I particularly checked to make sure they did indeed play Cornhole in Amarillo. It’s a big money game there - they don’t play for peanuts 😜 Attachment Deleted

Again, I stand corrected....I gotta get out more. I have never in my 62 years of living here (well, an 8 year space when I lived in Miami)...I have never heard of such a thing. Kind of embarrassing actually. That's Amarillo though...All white rednecks rumbling over something stupid!

Either meat. Like either stuff/dress though stuffing helps any bacteria issues. We substitute this for cranberry ...
Drain a can of crushed pineapple, keeping the juice. Make 2 packets of raspberry jello using the pineapple juice as part of the water (2 cups total). Boil and add jello and dissolve. Then add one can of blueberry pie filling. Stir, adding in pineapple next. Put in long pan in fridge to set up. Later, Topping... hand whip 6 oz softened cream cheese, 1 cup sour cream, and 1/2 cup sugar. Pour over set up jello, spreading with a spatula. Back in fridge to let top to set up. Walnuts can added at the table. If you add them on top too soon, they're great Tday, but soften over time.
