Queen Elizabeth, a $5 million purse...... Aussie bred #7 Pride of Jenni went directly to the front, looked like about 30 lengths ahead? I'm sure won by at least 15+ lengths in front. Never seen anything like it. They said they never saw this at this racecourse in modern times. Big congrats to Declan Bates and Ciaron Maher the trainer. I didn't get the final lengths the horse was ahead by. I guess I will soon..... www.pedigreequery.com/pride+of+jenni

It was somewhat predicted....she has this incredible "sustained speed" that she has shown last time she came to Sydney.
She was also about 100 meters ahead in the JRA Plate last year then faded.
Seeing this kind of sustained speed is always very exciting! and that is her signature style. She led all the way to win the group 1 Empire Rose Stakes and Champions Mile during the Flemington carnival
BUT I DON"T THINK ANYONE EXPECTED QUITE THIS!

She ran sub-twelves throughout the middle of the race and at about a mile, she clocked an :11&1 which is reminiscent of the kind of middle sectionals of the greats.
Drone footage is fun to watch:
