having spent at least 1/2 my life in the Northeast, moving to the southwest was a culture shock. But visiting Wisconsin about 20 times, where much of my family lives, I found this humorous video to be SPOT ON. And there's this other thing that people in Wisconsin do, and that is that they will thank you 3 times, like "thank you thank you thank you" instead of just saying it once. I have found some of the things she mentions to be true in arkansas as well, like if you bump into someone, THEY will say excuse me in the nicest way, instead of getting annoyed with you for bumping into them. Going to Oaklawn I can't remember the time that, female or male, someone in my proximity getting to a door before me, didn't hold the door open for me. (those outside doors are HEAVY!). I watched this video and thought: This is so true:
