Always great to watch the geldings Golden Sixty, California Spangle and Romantic Warrior run. Could make a case they are all top 10 performers in the world this year. They raced vs each other in this video from January.

SHA R3 (12:35am ET)- 7f Maurice Handicap (Class 3) (3yo+) (Course A) (Turf)www.racingpost.com/racecards/416/sha-tin/2023-12-10/856655#3- Tamra Blitz (6-1) won a similar event over several of these opponents last month, picks up 6lbs for that but is in better form than most, drew well in PP3 and can sit a nice trip behind the pace. #7- Simple Hedge (7-2) makes second start after a layoff, finished 2+ behind the top one last out, drew well in PP5 and gets leading rider Zac Purton again. Needs to make a strong late move. $1EX- 3,7/3,6,7,9,12 SHA R4 (1:10am ET)- 1m4f Longines Hong Kong Vase (Group 1) (3yo+) (Course A) (Turf)www.racingpost.com/racecards/416/sha-tin/2023-12-10/856656West Wind Blows is a non-runner. #1- Junko (7-1) hasn't missed the board on turf when running 10F-12F, winning the GI Preis von Bayern last time. Andre Fabre for the Wertheimer bros, every chance. #3- Zeffiro (7-1) won GII in latest at Tokyo, enters this in career best form, needs to make late charge under Damien Lane. #7- Geraldina (13-1) has been knocking heads with Equinox, Romantic Warrior, and the like this year. No wins since last fall, hard to envision one here, but gets 4lbs from the boys and William Buick is engaged to steer, could find the podium. #8- Lebensstil (2-1) highly progressive 3yo colt is 6//3-2-1, Hiroyasu Tanaka puts Moreira up again in the familiar green/white/red Carrot Farm colors. Gets 5lbs in first try against elders today, and first try at 12F. Needs to make another forward move, but if he does he can take this. #9- Warm Heart (7-5) was second in the BC F&M Turf behind Inspiral last out, 3-for-3 on good turf going 12F like today. Drew the rail for The Lads/A. O'Brien/Ryan Moore and gets 9lbs from older males, apparently traveled over and settled in well. Wouldn't bet against her. $0.60TRI- 1,9/1,3,7,8,9/1,3,7,8,9 TW

Nice result in the Vase, with Junko winning at 9-2, and Zeffiro second at 9-2. Warm Heart drifted up to 5-2 and barely held third by a half length over Geraldina (16-1), could've gotten PAID if she got up for third.

Making his first start since winning the G1 Champions Mile some 224 days ago and his first start as an 8-year-old from the widest barrier in a full field of 14, three-time Hong Kong Horse of the Year GOLDEN SIXTY (AUS) (g, 8, Medaglia d'Oro–Gaudeamus, by Distorted Humor) turned in arguably the most dominating performance of an incredible career to win the G1 Longines Hong Kong Mile for the third time Sunday at Sha Tin. www.thoroughbreddailynews.com/golden-sixty-defies-all-odds-to-win-third-hong-kong-mile/
