#1- Cry Fiction (15-1) won on debut, then was a clear second behind the good Godolphin 2yo filly Star of Mystery at Newmarket. Can't think that the m/l odds will hold. #8- Pretty Crystal (7-2) also won her first race, then was a close-up fifth behind Porta Fortuna in the Albany S. (GIII) at Royal Ascot.
EX- 1,8/1,2,5,8,9
ASC R3 (9:25am ET)- 1m (7f213y) (Rnd) Valiant Stakes (Group 3) (Fillies & Mares) (Class 1) (3yo+)

#5- Cadeau Belle (6-1) is the bet of the day, if the price holds. Johnny Murtagh sends this 2-for-2, 3yo Listed-winner over from Ireland, puts Jamie Spencer up. #2- Random Harvest (7-2) is the class of the field, her just-missed second in the Duke of Cambridge S. (GII) at Royal Ascot points her out.
WIN- 5 EX- 2,5/1,2,5,9
ASC R4 (10:00am ET)- 7f International Stakes (Heritage Handicap) (Class 2) (3yo+)

25 runners going seven furlongs. #3- Biggles (5-1) won the Bunbury Cup last out, gets a 3lb penalty for that, but is in career form and gets Ryan Moore again. #5- Bless Him (12-1) 9yo Sea The Stars gelding keeps on going, rounding into form and wasn't far behind Biggles in last. He'll be slowly away from the gate as usual, but Spencer will be flying late. I've been on #7- Vafortino (10-1) for two years now, he's been quite reliable to hit the exacta, gets 5lb apprentice allowance today. #8- Northern Express (10-1) also carries a 3lb penalty, but he's flying this season and loves 7F on good ground.
