AUS- RandwickDRF has free PPs for the races: www.drf.com/news/free-international-racing-past-performances-and-analysisThe 'Championships at Randwick' are eight GI races over various distances and divisions, similar to the Breeders' Cup. Four races were run last Friday. Tonight, the Sydney Cup has the local stars plus two from Joseph O'Brien, being Cleveland and Baron Samedi. The Queen Elizabeth ($3.3M USD) features local hero Anamoe from Godolphin (tr. James Cummings), which won the Cox Plate (GI) in October, versus William Haggas' shipper Dubai Honor, which won the Ranvet Stakes (GI) at Rosehill (Aus) under Ryan Moore last month. The Queen Of The Turf offers the Australian debut of Alcohol Free, multiple GI-winner that sold to Australian-based interests at Tattersalls/December for 5,400,000gns. She's in the Gai Waterhouse yard, won the barrier trial 'race' that was a prep for tonight (over 2020 Epsom Derby winner Serpentine, which also races 'down-under' now.) These were great, I stayed up to watch and took a photo of my screen with twinspires so my friends who missed the race could see the field.......this is racing! $5 million to the winner. Some beautiful pedigrees here. I work on the Melbourne Cup every year so I watch a lot of Aussie, NZ and Japanese races so I can familiarize myself better with the tracks, horses and colonies..
